Southern Seeds, Inc., established in 1971, is an independent distributor of turf grass, fencing, and erosion control supplies. We take pride in our long standing dedication to excellent product knowledge and good old fashioned customer service. Our professional customer base primarily consists of turf grass managers, golf course superintendents, landscapers, fence contractors and local resellers. However, we’re never too busy to assist our many novice and homeowner customers with product solutions and recommendations. Whether you’re taking care of 1,000 acres or 1,000 square feet, Southern Seeds, Inc. has the products, solutions, and professional service to help you get the job done.

Located in Middlesex, North Carolina, and celebrating our 50th year in business, Southern Seeds, Inc. stocks a wide variety of professional products for end users throughout North Carolina and other areas of the southeast. In our 42,000 square foot warehouse facility, we maintain an inventory of the latest varieties of both cool and warm season grass seeds, turf fertilizers and nutrients, as well as professional turf care products from A to Z. We also stock a complete selection of steel t posts and fencing products for commercial or farm use. Our erosion control inventory consists of everything from silt fence and soil stabilization fabrics to erosion control matting and hydro seeding supplies.

Southern Seeds, Inc. began as a local resource for agricultural products and supplies, as well as a distributor of turf grass seed for area retailers and garden center merchants. For over twenty years, Southern Seeds, Inc. has primarily focused on the rapid growth of the professional turf grass industry, and landscape supplies in North Carolina as well as that of the commercial fencing industry in the southeast. As a family oriented company, Southern Seeds, Inc’s employees average over 12 years of service with the company and have a combined total of over 145 years worth of product knowledge and sales experience.
