Southmeadow fruit gardens was established to make available choice and superior varieties of fruit trees and plants for the connoisseur and home gardener. after searching for sourcewood and testing for authenticity, these varieties are propagated at our nursery in southwestern michigan
Family owned and operated mail order plant nursery in North Florida. We specialize in over 150 varieties of landscaping trees, shrubs, fruit trees, flowers, and more. We have Perfected our method of shipping to ensure high quality plants are being delivered to our customer's homes. Our mission is to help grow landscapes, green spaces, and gardens across the country for a greener future.
Miami in an upland pine habitat that gives the nursery its name. the property is one of the largest privately-owned natural forest communities remaining in miami-dade county, and we replanted more than 2,500 pine trees after the complete annihilation of the primary forest by hurricane andrew in 1992.
We are a small family owned retail nursery, located directly across from the Golden Gate Bridge. Situated on just under two acres in Sunset Zone 17, we experience cool summers and mild winters. Our primary goals are to offer top-quality plants of all types to the public, to collect and disseminate information on anything garden-related, and to provide a pleasant atmosphere in which to browse through an array of horticultural products & accessories. We can provide delivery for much of the San Francisco Bay Area, but we are not set up for mail-order purchases.
Our plant specialties are too many to list in this introduction, but a few of our notable departments are CA Natives, Mediterranean plants, Roses, Camellias, Rhododendrons, Tropicals, Cacti, Bulbs, Fruit Trees, and Organic Vegetables. We encourage a sustainable organic approach to gardening; in fact we’d like to see more people get connected to their green roots. Our devoted and experienced staff looks forward to helping gardeners of all ages and levels, with any plant-oriented project.
