Based in Hamilton County, Indiana. The purpose of the Hamilton County Master Gardener Association shall be to promote the art, science, and pleasure of gardening in the community, in cooperation with the Cooperative Extension Service of Hamilton County and Purdue University. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
The purpose of The Garden Club of America is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, to share the advantages of association by means of educational meetings, conferences, correspondence, and publications, and to restore, improve, and protect the quality of the environment through educational programs and action in the fields of conservation and civic improvement.

The Orton Botanical Garden educates people of all ages and backgrounds about cold hardy cacti and other succulents, native and drought tolerant plants, environmental health, and resource conservation. The Garden also demonstrates how plants can support and protect pollinators and other wildlife while adding beauty to the landscape.
