We’re excited to share our bounty of bareroot fruit trees which are a reflection of our labors throughout the last two seasons. as always, our nursery is centered on the rich history and future discoveries of our heirloom apples. ​

Kings Seeds was established in 1888 in Kelvedon, Essex, UK. Since then, we have become a leading seed supplier with a comprehensive range of vegetable seeds, flower seeds, herb seeds, organic seeds and gardening sundries.

We supply seed to commercial growers of flowers and vegetables, wholesale to large users of seed and to the home gardener through our seed packets. We are now unique in that Kings is the last surviving wholesale horticultural seed merchant in the country.

We are also Britain's biggest sweet pea producer for the home gardener. Many of our sweet peas are grown on our own farm in Essex, where we select an maintain seed stock. We have over 100 varieties of sweet pea seeds available to buy online.

We grow blackberries, grapevines, blueberries, raspberries, fig trees, goji berries, and more! Family owned and operated, we are dedicated to our work. Our family has proven that it doesn't take a large acreage or big farm machinery to make a living on the land. On one occasion, our family was chosen "Farm Family of the Year'.

We are a small family owned retail nursery, located directly across from the Golden Gate Bridge. Situated on just under two acres in Sunset Zone 17, we experience cool summers and mild winters. Our primary goals are to offer top-quality plants of all types to the public, to collect and disseminate information on anything garden-related, and to provide a pleasant atmosphere in which to browse through an array of horticultural products & accessories. We can provide delivery for much of the San Francisco Bay Area, but we are not set up for mail-order purchases.

Our plant specialties are too many to list in this introduction, but a few of our notable departments are CA Natives, Mediterranean plants, Roses, Camellias, Rhododendrons, Tropicals, Cacti, Bulbs, Fruit Trees, and Organic Vegetables. We encourage a sustainable organic approach to gardening; in fact we’d like to see more people get connected to their green roots. Our devoted and experienced staff looks forward to helping gardeners of all ages and levels, with any plant-oriented project.
