The california rare fruit growers (CRFG) is the largest amateur fruit-growing organization in the world. We specialize in fruit not native to nor grown commercially in any given area; but our breadth of knowledge and experience covers the environmentally sound culture of any and all edible plants. We do not sell fruit or fruit trees, we are an organization.
Delicious! apples, pears, peaches, and plums grown on espalier trained fruit trees are extra-large and luscious.

We are a small family owned retail nursery, located directly across from the Golden Gate Bridge. Situated on just under two acres in Sunset Zone 17, we experience cool summers and mild winters. Our primary goals are to offer top-quality plants of all types to the public, to collect and disseminate information on anything garden-related, and to provide a pleasant atmosphere in which to browse through an array of horticultural products & accessories. We can provide delivery for much of the San Francisco Bay Area, but we are not set up for mail-order purchases.
